To all O level graduates:
-Joint Admission Exercise (JAE)
-Joint Polytechnic Special Application Exercise (JPSAE)
-Direct Polytechnic Application (DPA)

Joint Admission Exercise (JAE)
JAE is conducted after the release of the GCE O level results. Students will be given 12 choices to apply for JC/MI/Polytechnic courses.

In order to be eligible for BZSE under JAE, candidates must at least reach the criteria of:

• C6 or better in English 
• C6 better in E or A mathematics
• C6 better in any other three subjects

The current cut off point (COP), for BZSE is 13.

Joint Polytechnic Application Exercise (JPSAE) 
JPSAE aims to make available a rigous and challenging polytechnic education to students with special aptitude and talents. Applicants can apply for a maximum of three courses under JPSAE.

Basically, candidates are assessed on,

• Portfolio of awards or achievements;
• Performance at selection audition/trial; and / or
• Performance at selection interview; and / or
• Recommendations from school principals or relevant organizations.

Direct Polytechnic Application(DPA) 
DPA allows students who are interested, to confirm places in polytechnic courses prior to taking their GCE 'O'level examinations.
