To impact and transform(:

"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around." ~Leo Buscaglia

Achievements!

WOOOO. BZstudents are definitely BUSY.
BUT we all enjoyed the process:D

Sometimes, its about the process when we pick up skills on how to work with people of different character.
Though projects,assignments and presentation preparation may stack up, one after another, BZstudents and lecturers gave one another encouragement to pull through all this stressful moments.

BZSE has allowed students to be exposed to many new things which enables us to gain more experience as well as to prepare us for the future. This are some of the things BZSE has achieved/ done so far.

Introducing to you OUR GLORY OF BZSE(:
Justine lee,currently in year 3 of BZSE.

Justine's desire was kicked off after joining BZSE where he is able to make his dream come true, to set up project selfless shoe where lecturers are more than willing to help and the school will also sponsor you with an amount of capital to start his business. His social enterprise was mainly to target on needy children, to provide them with shoes.
A SOLE for every SOUL.

Therefore, for every shoe they sell, they will give it to another children who needs it more.

On top of that, BZSE students was given a chance to help out in Soule events such as soule tournament which was held in 1st May 2010. Small little actions, receiving a smile in return(:

Next, Dialogue in the Dark;
also known as DID, is an social enterprise set up in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. it provides the blind as well as differently-abled people worldwide. During this 1 hour exhibition, you will be lead by a blind man through complete darkness where you will rely and make use of your other senses.

Year 1 BZSE students were given this special opportunity to enter this exhibition for free and it was indeed a very memorable experience. Experiencing how it feels like to be in darkness, made us learn and think deeper in an impactful way, in an unusual environment.

One large-scale event we BZ students have been involved in is the Gawad Kalinga(GK) Summit, where year 1-3 students took part in running and planning of this event. This event is held, dedicated to the eradication of poverty in Asia. Its a very fruitful experience where we learn more about how an event is carry out and how to communicate with the delicates to let them feel welcome in Ngee Ann as well as Singapore.
